INTERNATIONAL PAPER

International Paper in Three Rivers is the largest manufacturer of corrugated paperboard products in Southwest Michigan. The Owner hired Miller Davis to modernize the facility and complete structural modifications on a design-build basis in order to quickly improve efficiency, production and safety.

The result is a $1.2 million improvement project completed during the summer of 2006. Miller Davis self-performed selective demolition, structural steel fabrication and erection, and carpentry work. Byce & Associates provided structural engineering services.

International Paper and Miller Davis have maintained a long-term working relationship spanning five decades. Previously completed projects include two major multi-million dollar machinery installations, a complete cafeteria, locker room, and entryway, office renovations, construction of a 12,000-square-foot fire separation wall, and numerous structural steel modifications.
