HERITAGE COMMUNITY

Heritage Community is the only locally owned nonprofit senior living residence in Kalamazoo. Established in 1945, Heritage Community has grown to consist of seven communities offering independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing care.

The $1.5 million, 12,000 square foot renovation project has 3 phases to accommodate ongoing operations. Renovations focus on reconfiguring Heritage Community’s multi-use space physical and occupational therapy, dining room and administration areas to optimize the services provided to residents. The project also includes a new fire alarm system, upgrades to the boiler system and air handling system enhancements.
