GULL LAKE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS

2004 Bond Program

Gull Lake Community Schools is a K-12 public school district serving approximately 3,000 students. Located in Kalamazoo County, the district has one High School, one Middle school, one Intermediate School and three Elementary Schools.

The September 2004 bond issue provided $39.7 million to fund a New 229,000 square foot High School, remodel the Middle School and provided $4.0 million in district wide technology upgrades to meet the demands of a modern curriculum.

Gull Lake High School was the winner of theĀ 2008 Southwest Michigan AIA Honor Award. Architectural/Engineering services were provided by Kingscott Associates and all work was administered by Miller-Davis Company through a Construction Manager/Advisor contract arrangement.
