FAMILY & CHILDREN SERVICES

Family & Children Services provides support for up to 9,000 children and adults annually. $5.1 million was raised through the Making Room for Hope campaign to improve, upgrade and expand the current facility. The project included constructing a new Family Visitation and Learning Center, extensive remodeling to upgrade the Respite Youth Activity Center, and renovating the Counseling Center, as well as relocating Child Welfare services.

The new Family Visitation and Learning Center creates a home-like atmosphere and provides indoor and outdoor spaces where children can comfortably and safely play with their families. The upgraded Respite Youth Activity Center provides space for social and emotional skill-building groups, art and music activities, and act as the on-site base for summer programs.
