2016 Bond Program

Miller-Davis Company served as construction manager for Comstock Public Schools’ 2016 $40 million bond program. Construction took place in three series over nine years and covered improvements to all school buildings within the district.

The bond program includes technology updates, secured entrances, restroom and locker room upgrades, site improvements, mechanical and electrical upgrades, and more. Series 1 ($8 million) included remodeling the high, middle, and elementary schools. The focus of Series 2 ($16 million) was remodeling and upgrading all classrooms, hallways, stairways, and other interior spaces at Comstock Elementary School as well as the construction of a new gym and upgrades to science rooms, science storage, and specific support offices at Comstock Middle School. Series 3 ($16 million) included improvements to the High School Stadium with a new gated entrance, ticket booth, and restrooms.

Miller-Davis Company was selected to serve as construction manager for Comstock Public Schools’ 2022 $39.4M bond improvements, including a new STEM Academy facility, to be completed in two series over six years.
