Brief Description
Miller-Davis Company seeks a qualified individual to provide project management support and administration for construction projects from pre-construction through post-construction.
Job Responsibilities

Project-specific Support
- Work closely with Project Management and Accounting Departments
- Prepare, review and finalize, subcontracts, purchase orders, transmitters, and change orders
- Oversight of corporate contract document process and record keeping
- Assist with bid payment performance bond processing
- Quality control of project management documents and change management/contracts
- Process project-specific company insurance requirements
- Schedule pre-bid and post-bid meetings
- Oversight of subcontractor prequalification process
- Assure subcontractor compliance with insurance and contract requirements
- Assist estimators with various bid-related requests
- Initiate, organize, and finalize project closeout documents
- Maintain project directory and project address book in Sage
- Organize and file contract-related documents
- Assist with project manual for CMa and CMc projects
- Manage and order office supplies
- Manage incoming telephone calls and incoming/outgoing mail
- Other duties that may from time to time be assigned by the Company
Office-Wide Support
Education requirements, certifications, work experience
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree, or related experience
- Excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clearly, concisely, and effectively in a variety of formats
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit written materials for accuracy and clarity
- Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines with accuracy and precision
- Proficiency in various cloud-based software solutions and strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.Sage Construction software experience a plus
- Knowledge of the construction industry and related experience is desirable
