Miller-Davis Company was founded as a General Contractor and has been regularly providing construction services through this arrangement for over a century. In this system, the Owner typically engages an Architect to complete the design and, then, Miller-Davis to construct the building. General Contracting frequently follows the three successive steps of design, bid and build, but we offer numerous variations on that basic approach to meet your specific needs.
Another benefit to our Owners with the GC arrangement is that Miller-Davis regularly self-performs selective demolition, concrete, steel, carpentry and architectural trades work for new and existing facilities, as well as maintenance contracts.
Miller-Davis Company has extensive experience serving as Construction Manager for all types of facilities. We offer both At-risk and Agency Construction Management formats and represent the Owner's interests in all construction-related matters, from project inception through occupancy. As your CM partner, Miller-Davis provides pre-construction services to help achieve the project's quality, cost and time objectives in addition to the typical construction responsibilities.
With Design-Build, Miller-Davis Company is the single source for both the design and construction of buildings. In this arrangement, the Owner contracts with Miller-Davis to provide all the architectural, engineering and construction services necessary to complete the project. This streamlined process simplifies the Owner's involvement throughout the project.
