Water Treatment Plant improvements were made in Lake Charter Township (Berrien County, Michigan) on the Lake Michigan Shoreline. The water filtration plant is responsible for the treatment of water to make sure it is safe for consumption.
Miller Davis, along with engineers from Fishbeck Thompson Carr &Huber, utilized a gang-form system with a form-liner to improve the one million gallon water storage tank with 14-foot cast-in-place concrete walls that are 111 feet wide and 127 feet long. The gang-forms allowed staff to stay on track with the aggressive construction schedule established by the engineer. The form-liner gave a brick pattern to the concrete walls.
